We have been to Ao Nang Numerous times, for bringing boxers from America to training ourselves; its a tourist hotspot in south Thailand. Because of this there are many Muay Thai gyms tending to tourists. However, what we noticed about this gym is that it has many thai youth training everyday. It could be due to the large market adjacent to the gym where many of the parents likely work.

This not only helps develop athletic skills but also fosters discipline, self-confidence, and a positive routine for the youth. Supporting local coaches with equipment also encourages them to continue their mentorship roles, which is vital for creating stable, supportive environments. Coaches often act as role models and community leaders, guiding youngsters away from harmful paths.
